This month, the Ralph Carr Chili cook-off took place in downtown Denver’s Judicial Center. Its contestants went all out in an attempt to win the coveted championship title, and included influential government officials such as the Attorney General and Office of the State Court Administrator.
The Chili Cook-Off is sponsored by the Colorado Combined Campaign, which is a workplace giving organization that gives government employees the opportunity to donate to charities statewide. As part of the event, each team selects a charity to support and the two winning competitors split the proceeds towards a cause that matters most to them.
We are very proud to announce that the winners, Andy Maikovich and Jennifer Mendoza, cooked on behalf of their chosen charity, PetAid Colorado! Andy and his wife, Michele Brown, are avid PetAid supporters and pet lovers, while Jennifer Mendoza has donated her professional photography services at Mutts & Models over the past three years.
A huge “thank you” to both Jennifer and Andy! We are incredibly fortunate to have such strong (and well-skilled) ambassadors in support of a cause that we all identify with and feel passionate about.
