It was also with great pleasure that PetAid presented Dr. Bonnie Kramer and April Slavey with the 2017 Jim Crafts Volunteer of the Year Award. This award is given out annually to honor volunteers who have distinguished themselves for their commitment, while also demonstrating a strong passion and dedication towards eliminating the barriers to veterinary care.

Dr. Kramer and April have volunteered at seven Community Outreach clinics and in that time, have cared and provided for over 200 pets with free vaccinations and wellness exams. Our staff members refer to them as the “Dream Team” for their contagious positivity and tireless tenacity. The philanthropic spirit Dr. Kramer and April have both shown inspires us all, and we are extremely proud to have them as part of the Jim Crafts volunteer legacy. We couldn’t be more grateful for these two and their shared expertise in helping less fortunate pets and people. Thank you again, April and Dr. Kramer, for all that you do!
