PetAid Colorado is very lucky to have so many exceptional volunteers who donate their time and efforts to lend a helping hand to PetAid and its programs. We are pleased to recognize two volunteers in particular who have gone above and beyond this year—Bob and Sue Shalley, who are both loyal, longtime supporters of PetAid.
Sue and Bob own and operate Field Services Unlimited, a Women’s Business Enterprise founded in 1992, and the leader in site surveys and customized field programs. In addition, Sue dedicates her philanthropic talents to helping and benefiting children with uncertain futures. Bob has served as the chair of the Puttin’ for PetAid committee over these past two years and because of his steadfast dedication, ensured that 2016’s Puttin’ for PetAid’s golf tournament was one of our most successful and enjoyable yet. Sue chipped in by donating one-of-a-kind auction items, which again surpassed our expectations, and we couldn’t be more grateful or thank these two enough.
And so it was with great pleasure that PetAid presented Bob and Sue with the 2016 Jim Crafts Volunteer of the Year Award during our Donor Appreciation Reception on November 3. The award is given out annually to honor volunteers who have distinguished themselves for their commitment, while also demonstrating a strong passion and dedication towards the welfare of animals in need.
Here at PetAid, we are proud, inspired, and honored to have the Shalley’s as part of the Jim Crafts volunteer legacy. Thank you again, Bob and Sue, for all that you do!
