PetAid Community Outreach
Wellness and Vaccine Clinics

A mobile unit was donated to PetAid Colorado which allows the Community Outreach program to conduct wellness and vaccine clinics at low-income housing facilities, homeless shelters, community centers, and other locations.

Community Outreach works with partners in the community like Denver Housing Authority, Colorado Health Network, local animal shelters, and area homeless shelters to reach out to people whose pets would otherwise not receive care.

Wellness and vaccine clinics couldn’t take place without our teams of volunteer veterinarians and veterinary assistants. The clinics provide pets with general wellness exams and vaccines free of charge. If the pet is in need of follow up care, the Community Outreach program provides subsidies for the pet to receive that care at PetAid Animal Hospital.

PetAid Community Outreach wellness and vaccine clinics are not open to the public. If you are a building manager or services coordinator interested in scheduling a clinic for your residents or clients, please contact Katie Koch by phone at 303.539.7273 or email at katiekoch@petaidcolorado.org.

If you are an interested pet owner in subsidized housing, please talk with your service coordinator or building manager. If your building or community center is not holding an upcoming wellness and vaccine clinic, please contact PetAid Animal Hospital for more information about receiving income-qualified care at our facility in Denver.
